Not because they're not capable — because no one ever taught them. Fempower's programme gives girls in Dar es Salaam the practical skills, language, and confidence to change that.

How do you convince someone your idea is worth backing? Students learn to structure an argument, back it with numbers, and turn a rough concept into something a real decision-maker would take seriously.
Presence, clarity, and handling a room. Every student practises in front of peers, gets honest feedback, and learns the difference between being heard and being remembered.
Most leadership is mundane: running a meeting, disagreeing without falling apart, deciding when the picture's still blurry. Girls practice these in teams — on real problems, not case studies written for someone else.
